Independent Voter Platform -- T A X E S

We The People must eliminate the federal income tax for all individuals and small business. We need a flat tax on all businesses grossing over $100 million annually. The current tax rate is 38%. I contend this should be reduced to 28%. This would help stimulate corporate growth and give rise for corporations to support the independent voter platform's call to cut the bloated Pentagon budget. Eliminating the federal personal income tax would do more for the average taxpayer than just about anything else the federal government could do for American families AND small businesses.

Naturally, you may ask, "But how are we going to replace those funds our government is used to spending?"

The short and long answer is by cutting the bloated Pentagon budget and other wasteful government spending.
